Plagron Calmag Pro - Increases Calcium & Magnesium Levels in Soft Water Areas
Calcium and Magnesium are extremely important secondary macronutrients. Soft water areas have lower levels of these key nutrients, so in some instances it's important to supplement with them, and Plagron Calmag Pro is perfect for the job. Calmag is also useful for growers running reverse osmosis units and for treating deficiencies.
Calcium
Calcium is especially important during the vegetative growth stages. Like silicon, it helps to strengthen cell walls, which promotes vigorous growth and more robust structures. Calcium is vital for transporting nutrients around the plant.
Magnesium
Magnesium is a vital component in the formation of the chlorophyll molecule. Chlorophyll is responsible for giving plants their green colour and it is used in the process of photosynthesis, where plants take energy from your grow light and use it to split CO2 into carbon and oxygen. The carbon is then used by the plant and the oxygen is released as a waste product.

How To Use
Calmag Pro is often used to increase the starting EC of reverse osmosis water and soft water. If this is the case for you, keep adding Calmag Pro until you hit your desired starting EC (usually around 0.3 or 0.4).
CalMag Pro is generally added at a rate of 1ml per litre of water (1:1000). Use this solution each time the plants are irrigated.
