When using Shogun Dragon Force, you can even stop using your base nutrient and PK additive altogether – Dragon Force has it covered! It contains highly available forms of phosphorus (9.5), potassium (6.9), magnesium (2.6) and sulphur (2.5). Phosphorus and potassium are primary macronutrients that are essential to the development of healthy fruits and flowers.
Magnesium is a vital component of chlorophyll, the green pigment that drives the process of photosynthesis. Chlorophyll works by capturing light energy, which is then used to synthesize carbohydrates (sugars that plants use for food) from co2 in the surrounding atmosphere and water drawn through roots. During the last two weeks, these sugars help to fill out fruits, adding to their final weight.
Sulphur is also included in the Dragon Force formula – another secondary macronutrient that is often overlooked (to growers’ detriment). Sulphur is an element that forms a key component of many amino acids – the building blocks of life. How To Use
How to Use Shogun Dragon Force
Shogun Dragon Force should be applied two weeks before harvest. Use it for the second to last week, then flush for the final week. This product is a complete feed, so you should stop using your base nutrient and Shogun PK Warrior (or other PK booster) altogether during this period. Though it is not recommended specifically by Shogun, other additives in the Shogun Range (like Calmag) can be used alongside Dragon Force with no problem. Shogun Sumo Boost has been optimized to work alongside Dragon Force, so you can also keep using Sumo Boost right up to the point when you are ready to perform the final flush (last week of harvest).
Add Shogun Dragon Force to your reservoir tank or container at a rate of 4ml per litre of water and mix thoroughly. You can then add any additives to at the appropriate rates (don’t forget to stop using PK Warrior). Check the pH and EC level of the resulting solution and make adjustments as necessary.
As with all nutrients, boosters and additives, never mix them together in their concentrated form (i.e. straight out of the bottle). Always add each nutrient, booster or additive to your reservoir or feed water in turn, giving the solution a good stir to mix it in before adding the next one.
