Space-Saving Air Circulation

With its 16-inch blades and 90-degree oscillation, the Vortex 16" Oscillating Wall Fan ensures consistent air movement throughout the grow space, eliminating hotspots and strengthening plants.

Every grow area needs a circulation fan, but floor mounted fans and pedestal fans can take up valuable floor space. Using a wall mounted fan like this allows to make full use of every square centimetre, keeping your indoor garden as productive as possible.

Why Air Circulation Matters for Hydroponic Growth

Proper air circulation is essential in indoor grow spaces. Circulation is needed to prevent the air from becoming stagnant and create an even climate. By moving air across your plants, fans help to regulate temperature, reducing the risk of mould and mildew, and supporting CO₂ distribution – key factors for healthy photosynthesis. The gentle movement created by enhanced airflow also strengthens stems and branches, encouraging robust plant development and optimal yields.

Summary

  • Quiet operation – runs discreetly, minimising noise
  • Quick and easy to fix in place – screw two screws into the wall, then fit the fan over them
  • Extremely lightweight at just 2.6kg
  • Low-energy usage, drawing just 45 watts
  • Drawstring operated – easy to power up and down
  • Three speed settings: adjust airflow to suit your plants’ needs
  • Flexible positioning: 90° oscillation and 30° vertical tilt lets you direct airflow appropriately
  • Space-saving: wall-mounted installation saves floor space

How To Use

The Vortex Wall Fan can be set up quickly and easily. All you need to do is drill two holes into a wall, fit two raw-plugs and screw two screws into them (screws and raw plugs are supplied). As always, make sure that this is undertaken by a competent person.

There are two keyhole slots in the metal plate that joins the fan to the wall. This metal plate can be temporarily unscrewed and then used to make guidance marks.

When the wall screws are in place, re-attach the metal plate, place the fan over the keyhole slots, then push the fan downwards to slot it in.
