The GSE Humidifier / Dehumidifier Controller monitors moisture levels in the grow area and switches equipment accordingly, in order to maintain a consistent environment. This in turn helps to deliver healthy, robust plants, increasing yields while also preventing issues with botrytis.
How this GSE Controller Works
Humidity levels in your indoor garden play a huge role in the overall health of your plants. This GSE controller enables you to switch either a dehumidifier or a humidifier (but not both at the same time).
The unit is very easy to operate, with only two dials - the knob on the left allows you to select your ideal humidity level. The knob on the right allows you to choose between humidifier or dehumidifier mode (turn to the left for dehumidifying and turn to the right when humidifying). It also allows you to set the hysteresis. The hysteresis decides the system's tolerance level before equipment is switched on. For example, if you've set the ideal humidity dial to 60%, and you've set a hysteresis level of 10%, the controller will allow humidity levels in the room to drift by 6% (10% of 60) before it switches your equipment on, potentially taking the humidity level up to 66% or down to 54%. The lower you set the hysteresis, the more quickly equipment will be switched on when conditions start to deviate form your ideal setting (selected on the left-hand dial).
