The Lowest Costing Bar LED Grow Light — Now with Improved 3.2 μmol Performance!
If you're looking to upgrade to LED technology and you're on a tight budget, then the Omega Black 720w LED is the best option available. At £374.99, it's half the price of comparable units, making it truly incredible value-for-money. Better yet, this is a new and improved model with even better performance. The Omega Black now delivers a whopping 3.2 µmol per watt and a PPF of 2304 µmol per second.
You're probably wondering how it was even possible to squeeze such high-end tech into a unit that comes in at less than £400. Well, the team at Omega have utilised the tried and tested Omega Black digital HPS ballast to drive the diodes, which has cut the costs down without sacrificing on performance. If you want to save even more money, you can drive this LED fixture with your existing digital ballast HPS ballast.
The Omega Infinity still has the edge over the Omega Black, as it features a dedicated LED driver and controller ports, making it compatible with the Omega Matrix Controller. This gives you access to an array of features like sunrise / sunset and auto-dimming. The Omega Black however is a very close second!
By now you're probably aware of the kinds of features that you can expect from a fixture like this. Its light output is rich in all areas of the spectrum, but particularly rich in the red areas, allowing it to perform brilliantly in the bloom phase, piling on lots of weight while intensifying flavours and aromas. The ultra high efficiency level of 3.2 µmol / watt ensures that very little energy is lost as heat, making the grow room environment far easier to control. The Omega Black LED also comes with a 50,000-hour lifespan, giving you years of trouble-free use.
Bar style (spider) LED grow lights have better light spreads than other styles of grow light, with almost perfectly uniform footprints that deliver flat, even canopies.

How To Use
How to Use the Omega Black 720w LED Grow Light
The Omega Black LED is one of the quickest and easiest to set up. The fixture is supplied pre-assembled. It's folded in half in the box (via the central hinge) — all you need to do is open it up, connect up an Omega Black 600w digital HPS ballast and you're good to go.
A set of brackets is included which can be fitted in minutes by screwing them into the two central bars. You can use these to attach the ballast and the spirit level.
There are hanging eyelets in each corner of the fixture, so you'll need two pairs of rope ratchets to hang it.
In a typical indoor garden set-up, it's likely that you'll need to program your lighting schedules. We stock a range of products that can support larger power draws and multiple lighting fixtures.
As always, start off by raising up the Omega Black and running it on a lower setting. You can then increase the intensity and lower your light down as your plants adjust to it.
The Omega Black LED will produce great results in grow tents of between 1.2 square metres and 1.5 square metres.
