DESCRIPTION

Here at One Stop Grow Shop we are looking for an experienced Customer Service Manager to provide excellent customer service and to promote this idea throughout the organisation. The goal is to keep the department running in an efficient and profitable manner, to increase customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention and to meet their expectations. 

Customer Service Manager Job Duties: 

  • Improve customer service experience, create engaged customers and facilitate organic growth 

  • Oversees all aspects of the customer service experience to troubleshoot processes and procedures and make improvements of customer service quality 

  • Take ownership of customers issues and follow problems through to resolution 

  • Implements effective processes for customer service representatives to interact with customers via telephone, email, live chat or instant message 

  • Provides training on handling of sensitive customer service issues 

  • Monitors and reviews processes for ways to make procedures more time and cost-effective 

  • Makes regular reports to upper management about department milestones and progress 

  • Holds regular meetings with department staff to discuss expectations and hear team concerns 

  • Coordinates with sales and marketing department to incorporate plans to increase customer satisfaction 

  • Manages issues with the staff through assessment and subsequent corrective action if needed 

  • Maintains confidentiality regarding personnel information  

  • Develop service procedures, policies and standards 

  • Keep accurate records and document customer service actions and discussions 

  • Analyse statistics and compile accurate reports 

  • Recruit, mentor and develop customer service agents and nurture an environment where they can excel through encouragement and empowerment 

  • Keep ahead of industry’s developments and apply best practices to areas of improvement 

  • Control resources and utilise assets to achieve qualitative and quantitative targets 

  • Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities 

Requirements 

  • Proven working experience as a customer service manager.  

  • Experience in providing customer service support 

  • Excellent knowledge of management methods and techniques 

  • Awareness of industry’s latest technology trends and applications 

  • Ability to think strategically and to lead 

  • Strong client-facing and communication skills 

  • Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills 

  • Customer service orientation 

Customer Service Manager Skills and Qualifications: 

Good Communication Skills, Leadership Experience, Critical Thinker, Problem Solver, Analytical, Customer Service, Accurate Record Keeping.

DESCRIPTION

Here at One Stop Grow Shop, we are one of the largest retailer of hydroponic and gardening equipment in the UK.  We are located in Fenton and are looking to recruit a Stock purchasing / admin assistant, if you have the skills to keep people engaged; the ability and thirst to learn, enjoy a challenging fast-paced workplace with energetic colleagues and want to play a key part in helping us grow to the next level, we want to hear from you.

 

Role and responsibilities: -

  • Support in purchasing and administrative duties
  • Maintain stock levels to meet customer demands
  • Generate purchase orders
  • Obtain quotes/prices for new and existing products
  • Proactively manage cost saving
  • Management of stock and inventory
  • Working with warehouse staff to ensure stock levels remain accurate
  • Working with the Web team to ensure stock levels and web listings are correct on the web site
  • Working with the sales team to ensure stock being offered to face to face customers is always on hand
  • Keeping up to date with new products
  • Provide support to the Finance Team
  • Create and update records and databases with financial information
  • Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures, including invoicing
  • Archiving and filing

Experience required (but not essential as training will be given):

  • Purchasing, admin, buying experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage own workload
  • Ability to take direction and work as part of a team
  • Understanding of inventory management, stock checks etc
  • Competent on IT systems

 

The role would suit somebody who likes to be active, it is a challenging position but is essential to the efficient running of the company.
